Some of the worlds challenging and most beautiful golf course are in the Caribbean . Many of the courses are in and off season discounts. And best of all, most course are a part of a resort. Below I will give you information on some of the most popular and some that are not so popular but can be just as challenging.

Anguilla: This is possibly the newest of the Caribbean destinations. This island was once known for it dinning and laid back atmosphere but now has two world class courses.  Temenos: With views of the Caribbean sea , this 18 hole course offers the challenge of elevated tees and tiered tees along the lagoons that are protected by water and sand. You have both, carts and caddies available and is truly a luxuriest resort. Cedar Valley : This is the place that hosted the British Pro Am as well as many other championships. This is what I would call a full service course that includes lessons, driving range and pro shop that is located within the finest resorts. This course is great for the novice that wants to play the big league.

Jolly Harbour : With seven lakes and   the tropical setting makes this a beautiful site for a golf course. With a cool breeze keeping you cool you can golf by the day or purchase an annual membership. Aruba Golf Club: A desert setting for this 9 hole course has astro-turf greens and if you play from different tees you can still play 18 holes. Links at Diva: Situated on the island of Aruba nd is run by the Diva resort, a nine ole course is perfect for perfecting your game. It provides a driving range, practice bunker and even a learning center with a video swing analysis station.  Tierra del Sol: Another 18 hole course that is first class. Your family can swim in the pool, relax in the clubhouse or take advantage of the fine menu in the restaurant.

If you are looking for world class golf you should look into Barbados , one of the top destinations for golf. Almond Beach is a family fun hotel with a 9 hole course. Sandy Lane is actually 3 course in one, and its club house overlooks the 18th hole of the Green Monkey and Country Club courses. It is a very impressive club house which servers the Old Nine Hole, Green Monkey and Country Club courses. The original course on Barbados is the Barbados Golf Club, which is a 6805 yard par 72 course was completely redesigned in 2000 and promises to be a true experience in golf.

St Lucia island has a first class courses that is a must see. Sandals Regency is a resort and spa that is set for couples with it half mile long cresent beach. This all inclusive resort on 210 acres spares no detail for the perfect romantic getaway and the perfect place for honeymooners that want a little golf with their wedding.

St Thomas , Mahogany Run has a par 70 which is the pride of St Thomas and a challenge for the most avid player. This course has many challenges which includes a wind the dramatically varies from the tee to the green. The 13th, 14th, and 15th holes which are in the triangle and you can count on losing at least one ball. There is also a challenge called the devils wind, If you are slightly off on your swing it will send your ball into the rough, or an a couple of holes, your ball will go swim with the neon or parrot fish. But dont worry, after you game you can snorkel the reef and possibly find you ball. Jamaica , with its many courses has become a popular golf island. The Half Moon could be the best course on the island which has improved features that can accommodate the avid as well as the casual golfer. If your looking for a golf resort you should stay at the Wyndam Rose Hall. Here you will find 400 acres between the Caribbean sea and the Jamaican mountains. The seductive layout has a wind swept front nine and the dense foliage of the back nine with the tight traps. Any where you go in the Caribbean you are sure to find a course that will challenge you and give you some great memories to talk about for years, maybe even decades.
